Custom Search Overview of Poetry SA Network![]() Poetry SA Network is the brainchild of Ike Macina with the sole purpose of finding South Africa's New Artistic Voice of Self Expression amongst the youth, young adults and adults alike. A space in time when individuals can find their place in history and a voice which becomes a vehicle for change to influence progress. As we bury the complacency of our human endevour, a move forward to pioneer hope and to liberate conformity of a mindsets that are lacking in human spirit to seek victory over adversity. We use this platform and other mediums to air our creative views and artistic writing expressions, & much more... Our mission is to: a. Identify talented poets/poetry authors and writers in South Africa to showcase their talent to the the rest of the world. b. Enrol quality writers to our membership as pioneers who’ll influence the positive thinking of the current and future generations. c. Encourage authors to listen to their inner voices and sharpen their pens to paint the face of hope in an effort to challenge complacency. d. We plan to arrange poetry recitals and promote the works of our members to local audiences and tap into the overseas markets. e. We want to build a community of poetry writers and an audience of appreciative listeners who will support the voice of our new found consciousness. Our objectives is to: a. To be the vehicle and platform of talented writers of poetry and authors of "words" for local audiences and international markets. b. Promote poetry through workshops and implimentation of recital programs to live audiences and the consuming public. c. To publish completed works of writers who possess potential within our selective manuscrips of books to be Published in our books Catalogue. d. To publish audio works of writers who possess potential within our selective, Audio podcasts in our Publishing Catalogue. e. Promote our writers and authors on our blog and the PASA website including but not limited to electronic journals or email marketing. Memberships is open to all interested SA citizens within the following ages groups: i. Youth (between the ages of 15-20) ii. Young adults (between the ages of 21-35) iii.
